I’ve spent years around markets, media, online business, and finance, and eventually you start noticing the same pattern everywhere:
The outcomes are real but the inputs often feel manufactured.
Narratives shift after the fact. Incentives quietly shape behaviour. Systems optimise people without them fully noticing what’s happening.
After a while, it stops feeling random.
Money and Mirth started in trading and crypto communities, but over time the focus became much broader. Less ‘Elon go Pump 🚀’. More: ‘Why does the entire economy behave like a meme coin?’
These days the rabbit holes usually involve things like:
